It's official.  Strait Laces are one of the best bands in the world.

That's according to the bookers at South by South West (SXSW) the biggest and most respected music festival in the world.

The Belfast base trio will be travelling to Austin, Texas along with NI pals And So I Watch You From Afar and Fighting With Wire, who have also been asked to perform, in March 2010

SXSW showcases bands from 42 countries over 5 days and as well as Strait Laces the line-up for this year includes We Are Scientists, The View, Good Shoes, Deer Tick and tons more.  Check it out here: http://sxsw.com/music/shows/bands
